As a Pittsburgh family photographer, I love all of the beautiful colors outside in the fall!   This fall we discovered a beautiful area in the Laurel Highlands.  Ohiopyle seriously might be my new happy place!  In October we decided to just get in the car and just go for a long drive.   We had no idea where we were going or even what we were going to do when we got there.   We grabbed a coffee at Starbucks, a box of doughnuts at Dunkin Donuts and then got on the road.   It was a perfect fall day.   We had the windows rolled down and were enjoying the wind blowing through our hair.   I had heard that Ohiopyle was the place to go to see the fall leaves.   We had never been to Ohiopyle so we weren’t sure what to expect.   Our plans to just take a morning drive turned into an adventure.   We spent the day driving through covered bridges, catching fall leaves, hiking in the mountains, dipping our feet in the river, and eating ice cream.   Here are some of my favorite moments from our little adventure.
