Pittsburgh Family Portraits| Morrow-Pontefract Park Daddy and Me Photos

What a fun session! Joshua, Emily and Kaitlyn obviously love their daddy and I loved taking their Pittsburgh family portraits! I met Ryan and the kids at Morrow-Pontefract Park in Edgeworth on a beautiful day. The kids were all smiles and loved when Ryan tickled them or spun them around.

Morrow-Pontefract Park is gorgeous. It’s a great little gem for taking photos and the day of this session, the sun was brightly shining and the water in the creek was glistening gorgeously.

Family Portraits Pittsburgh | Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve Extended Family Photos | M Family

Looking at the photos from this session of family portraits near Pittsburgh makes me so happy! This family is absolutely gorgeous and their love is abounding. We took pictures at Beechwood Farms and oh my gosh is it gorgeous! I loved shooting there with all of the gorgeous Pittsburgh vegetation and trees! Just look at those beautiful purple and white wild flowers!  It is definitely one of my favorite locations because of the beautiful wooded trails, wooden fences, pond, and overall rustic vibe!  Not to mention Beechwood is huge–134 acres, to be exact–and offers over five miles of hiking trails.

This session was an anniversary gift for Siva and Monica. Because little Kieran had just been born, the family flew to Pittsburgh from Florida to celebrate, and Paul’s mom joined them from Ohio. I absolutely loved spending the morning with everyone!   After their session, they headed to the Grand Concourse for a celebratory breakfast.

What a great way to celebrate old memories, by making new ones! Happy Anniversary, Siva and Monica!

Pittsburgh Lifestyle Photographer | Robin Hill Park Mommy & Me Pictures | K Family

Being a Pittsburgh lifestyle photographer and working with families like Kristy’s is such a privilege.  I love getting to see and photograph families in different stages of their lives. Kristy reached out to me after Joshua was born.   She had done month by month pictures for both of her girls and she wanted to do the same for Joshua.  Each month we focus the session around a different theme.   For this session, Kristy wanted to do mommy and me pictures and I am so glad she did!  I loved taking pictures of Kristy playing and interacting with her children!   Kristy is an amazing mom and her bond with her children incredible!

We did Kristy’s session at Robin Hill Park.  Robin Hill Park is one of my favorite places to shoot because of the variety of backgrounds and the beautiful trees.  On the day of their session the sky was slightly overcast and it made the green of the trees and grass really stand out!  Here are some of my favorite pictures from Kristy’s mommy and me session!

Family Photography Pittsburgh PA | Round Hill Park Family Photos | Amy, Tom and Elliott

What a beautiful day for this family session at Round Hill Park! The scenery was so peaceful and quiet and the green of spring made the perfect setting for family portraits near Pittsburgh PA. I have had the privilege of taking pictures of Elliott since he was one!   Check out his adorable smash the cake session we did when he was a little toddler!   It is amazing that 3 years have already passed since that session!   I absolutely love that every year Amy plans a birthday shoot for Elliott.   It has been so much fun seeing Elliott grow and change into the little man he is today!  This year she wanted to do his birthday session on a farm.  It was the perfect setting not only because of the barn and animals, but what boy doesn’t love wearing overalls and playing in the hay and the barn?!  I truly enjoyed spending the evening looking at animals, eating mint from the garden, and taking pictures of Elliott playing with his parents.  Can’t you just hear Elliott’s sweet little giggle?!

I love that he brought his teddy bear along because it reminds me of Christopher Robin and Winnie the Pooh. It is very special because not only was this teddy bear Elliott’s dad’s when he was little, it has both of their initials on its paws. As a result, his teddy bear has been in every shoot we have done!

I had such a great time with this family (as usual!) and I always look forward to our sessions. I love getting to watch my youngest clients grow into their personalities!

Pittsburgh PA Family Portrait Photographers | Peters Lake Park Family Photos | B Family

The last time Susan and Ron had family photos taken was when their girls were little.  A few months ago Rachel reached out to me.  She wanted to surprise her parents with a family portrait session.  We met up at Peters Lake Park for their family session.  It was such a fun night!    My favorite part about the experience was their premiere though!   Rachel and Meghan’s reaction during there premiere brought warmth to my heart.   I love how important this session was to everyone in the family.   I can’t wait to see how these pictures look on the walls in their new home.  Here are some of my favorite pictures from their session.
