I love this little munchkin so much! She made me a mommy 6 years ago and what a journey it has been! Every year on Allie’s birthday she wakes up to a room filled with balloons. It is becoming a tradition to do a little photo shoot with Allie with her birthday balloons. Click on the link to see pictures from the last balloon shoot I did with her for her 4th birthday. This year, I really wanted to make it fun for her. I decided to have Alex stay home with Adalyn so that I could focus the entire session her. We headed over to Sewickley Heights Borough Park for her session. I love the special mommy and me time we got to have that evening. It was fun documenting her playing with her balloons, picking flowers, and dancing in the field. My favorite part of the evening celebrating by going out for ice cream afterwards Love this little girl! Here are some of my favorite pictures from her 6th birthday photoshoot!

Pittsburgh Children’s Photographers | Moon Township Kid Photography | Elliott

Elliott just turned 2 in April and to document this adorable stage in his life we planned a fun construction themed photoshoot! I have really enjoyed watching Elliott grow over the past year! I did Elliott’s one year session last spring and a fun 18 month session with him in the fall. Every time I see Elliott, he just keeps getting cuter and cuter! I love how playful he was during this session. As soon as we walked up to the field, Elliott started running around. He absolutely loved the tall grass! I had so much fun chasing after him! After playing in the field we told him that we were going to go see the diggers next. As soon as he found out that there were diggers down the hill, he immediately stopped what he was doing and headed to the barn. We spent the rest of the evening playing in a digger and splashing in puddles with the cutest pair of little red rain boots! Here are some of my favorite pictures from his session!

I asked Amy to write a couple of words about her experience and this is what she wrote.

“We just used Nicolette for our son’s 2 year photoshoot. This was our third time using Nicolette and possibly my favorite shoot yet! Every session I’m so impressed with all the different types of pictures she captures. She found a great location for our shoot and took so many great shots of my son: from beautiful grassy field portraits to silly, muddy bare belly bulldozer shots to sweet teddy bear hugging moments and a dandelion blowing series. Not only did she incorporate a construction vehicle theme we wanted, but caught so many other great moments that highlight the fun, joy, excitement, and cuteness of our son being 2 years old. I’m going to cherish these photos forever!”-Amy

Pittsburgh Child Photographer | Moon Township Child Photography | Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | Connor and Jacob

I love that Mandy wanted to surprise her husband with a portrait of their boys for Christmas! We secretly got together at Robin Hill Park the last week of November for Connor and Jacob session. You would never know just by looking at the pictures that it was winter. I couldn’t believe there was still fall foliage on the trees. It was such a fun afternoon! I was laughing the entire time! My favorite moment was when Connor and Jacob were playing football and watching the boys do their football dance! Here are some of my favorite pictures from their session!

“The boys had a great time with Nicolette and she was really able to capture their spirit and character in the photos. I love how comfortable she was with the kiddos and how much fun they had with her–we laughed so much! The patience she had is amazing! Allowing all of the costume changes, dances, props–we loved every minute of it! Honestly, it’s very hard to describe how much I love the time we had capturing my kids in their youth and craziness–I don’t feel like there are enough words. She just fit well.”-Mandy

Pittsburgh Family Photographer | Ohio Township Family Photography | Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | Happy Birthday Logan!

I had a blast documenting Logan’s animal themed birthday party! Aimee planned the perfect birthday party for him. She had Living Treasures bring animals to their house so that they could have their very own petting zoo in their backyard. The animals were a hit! There was a group of children feeding the animals the entire time. When they weren’t feeding the animals, they were making animal hats and balloons. It was such a fun party! There were so many things that I loved about Logan’s birthday party, but favorite detail was that Logan’s dad made the birthday cake!
