Pittsburgh Family Photographer | Frick Park Family Photography | Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | Jennifer, Jeremy, and Elyse

Fall is such a gorgeous time of year for pictures! In October, I got to take pictures of Jennifer and Jeremy’s family. We did their session at Frick Park. It was fun hiking down one of the trails and spending the day playing in the leaves and singing songs. Elyse is such a little cutie! I love how her entire face lights up when she smiles! Here are some of my favorite pictures from their session!

“We could not have been happier with Nicolette throughout this process! She had such a great vision for the session and was so relaxed and fantastic with our baby Elyse. She rolled with everything (spit up!) so easily and professionally, and had wonderful suggestions on everything from the setting for the session, to types of photos/poses and to how best to finalize our favorites. Pittsburgh Family Photographer | Moraine State Park Family Photography | Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | Robyn, Zack, and Chloe

I love surprises! Angie contacted me a few months ago, because she wanted to surprise her brother and sister in law with a family session for her niece’s first birthday. Robyn and Zack were completely surprised! They decided to do their session at Moraine State Park, because it is a place that they frequently visit. After scoping it out, I was in love. Moraine State Park is unbelievable gorgeous! There are so many beautiful spots surrounding the lake. We met at sunrise and spent the morning throwing rocks, dancing, playing with a magic wand, and cuddling with a gigantic bear! Here are some of my favorite pictures from their session.

Pittsburgh Family Photographer | Moon Township Family Photography | Moon Township, Pennsylvania | Angela, Erick, and Luke

How cute is Angela and Erick’s family! Luke is such a little sweetheart! We got together to take some one year and family portraits at Robin Hill Park in Moon Township, PA. One of the things that Angela mentioned to me before the session was that she always wants to remember how Luke gets so excited and points at everything he sees. During the session, Luke entire face lit up when he saw me pull the bubbles out. As soon as I started the bubble machine he was oohing at all of the bubble and trying to reach out and grab them. It was adorable! My favorite part of the session was when I was documenting Erick and Angela just interacting and playing with Luke! These pictures are going to look amazing in Angela and Erick’s home! I love the wall display that they created for their living room. It is heartfelt and playful! I absolutely love how it tells a story about their family! Here are some of my favorite pictures from their session!

Pittsburgh Baby Photographer | Smash the Cake One Year Session in Sewickley | Nicolette Dixon Photography | Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | Nolan

I love smash the cake sessions! There is something about them that is so much fun! One of my favorite moments in a smash the cake session, is seeing how different babies react when a cake is placed in front of them! We did Nolan’s smash the cake session at Morrow-Pontefract Park in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. We stylized Nolan’s smash the cake pictures around different shades of blue with a splash of yellow. Lauren had Nolan’s smash cake made by Priory Fine Pastries in Pittsburgh, PA. Nolan was so cute while he was devouring his cake. He was very focused and licked the frosting off of his fingers after each bite. By the end, there was blue frosting everywhere! My favorite moment during the session was when he raised his arm up and had a huge bright smile on his face! Here are some of my favorite pictures from Nolan’s smash the cake session!

Elliott is beyond adorable!!!! We did his one year session at Soergel Orchards in Wexford, Pennsylvania. It was such a cute location for his smash the cake session! I love the blossoming trees in the background! We stylized his session around a picnic theme. One of my favorite moments during the session was watching him carry around the picnic basket.
